Governors
The Governing Body of Anderton Park Primary School works with the Headteacher to ensure our school is a happy & successful environment for our children, our staff, our parents & the wider local community.
The Governing Body is responsible for the strategic direction of the school and this is driven by our vision & ethos. We oversee the financial control of the school & monitor the effects of our spending to ensure value for money. As a Governing Body we hold the Headteacher to account for the educational performance of each & every child within our school.
The Governing Body is determined that our school will be driven by our ethos that equality & high standards will help build a better world. We are proud of our diversity & celebrate that we are all unique individuals to be treated equally and fairly.
In this respect we are delighted to embrace our duty to promote British Values of freedom, democracy, the rule of law & mutual respect and understanding.
The Governing Body aims to ensure that our children attend a successful school with high expectations for their progress & performance in the academic areas of their education as well in all other elements of their educational & social development.
We will ensure that this continues to be provided within a supportive and caring environment and that our school curriculum is focused on achieving the broad and extensive aspirations of our school & of all of our children.
Governors' Message
The Governors of Anderton Park are united in their support of the Headteacher and the school, standing hand in hand for the promotion of equality, kindness and of respectful treatment of all people and those with protected characteristics. As always, we encourage you to talk to school staff should you have any questions. We have so many lovely things going on at school and we are proud of the part everyone plays so that all children can flourish.
Governing Body
The Governing Body of the school meets at least twice per term. It has responsibility for the appointment of staff, the school budget, the upkeep of the building and setting the school curriculum. It provides a general oversight of the running of the school.
